I came to Experts' seeking help on my applications with 680 on GMAT. It was September and I did not have time to improve my score. However, I was guided to prepare for GMAT as the help from Experts' eased the applications burden on me. While I achieved a 750 on GMAT with the Experts' Global Guidance Program, my applications were also almost completed. I still applied everywhere in Round-1 and achieved multiple admits with great scholarships!

In 1914, the New Orleans Association of Commerce, an influential organization of local business leaders, emphasized the importance of establishing an academically rigorous educational institution focusing on building the business acumen of the younger generation of the city. Morton A. Aldrich pioneered this effort that led to the establishment of “The College of Commerce and Business Administration at Tulane University” and he was chosen to be the first dean of the college. In 1940, the MBA program was introduced and the college shifted its location from Gibson Hall to its own dedicated building- Norman Mayer Memorial Hall. In 1984, the business school was named “Freeman School of Business”, in honor of leading businessman of the city, A. B. Freeman.
We inspire, engage, and enable students, organizations, and our global business community to contribute to human achievement and prosperity by creating and disseminating high-impact business knowledge and by leveraging the experiences that New Orleans and Tulane provide.
The MBA class at Freeman is small in design, thus fostering increased interaction between students and faculty. The lower professor-to-student ratio enables the faculty member to know the interests and aspirations of each student. This small sized classroom structure inculcates the attitude of collaboration and teamwork in students, as they feel themselves as part of the student community.
The world-class faculty at Freeman plays an instrumental role in helping students discover their areas of interest along with building a strong knowledge base on the business concepts. Freeman MBA promises to enhance the personal and professional capabilities of its students in order to provide an accelerated career growth.
Global Education is ingrained in the curriculum of Freeman School. Students get the opportunity to travel to countries of Asia, Europe and Latin America as part of their core curriculum. Here, the students are exposed to the businesses and economies of other countries. They visit organizations and network with business executives that give them further insights into the current business challenges. Ambassadors of other countries visit the School and have discussions with the students regarding leadership, emerging economies and crisis management. Through the Global Leadership Module, each MBA student earns a concentration in International Business apart from his own chosen concentration. The Global MBA is a special curriculum introduced by the School in 2007 for students who are eager to take on leadership roles in leading global business organizations.
Experiential Learning is a core part of the Freeman MBA program. The School gives plenty of opportunities for its students to gain hands-on experience and add value to their MBA. Liaising with clients over consulting projects as a part of the Freeman Consulting Group enhances the MBA experience by manifolds. Working with local entrepreneurs, who are successfully running their own ventures, enhances the student’s knowledge about the entire entrepreneurial process. The New Venture Planning is an initiative by the school to nurture the entrepreneurship potential of each student.
The Levy-Rosenblum Institute for Entrepreneurship has academic courses on entrepreneurial studies, internship opportunities, and community service projects that are a training ground for business development and entrepreneurship for Freeman School students.
New Orleans is a thriving business community with a booming economy for entrepreneurs. The last decade of the city saw the influx of energetic entrepreneurs from all walks of industries like technology, education, healthcare, environmental issues or urban development. Students play the roles of consultants, advisors, volunteers and interns to businesses and organizations across the city. New Orleans has a vibrant and collaborative atmosphere during festivities such as Mardi Gras and Jazz Fest.
The Career Management Center provides assistance to students by training them on effective job hunt strategies, salary negotiations and preparing winning resumes. The Center provides career education programs and counseling to students, so that the students can manage their career well. The career coaches delve into the personality of each student and advise him regarding the job prospects based on his goals and aspirations. The Center provides an array of tools and resources that assist the students in career planning and job search techniques. There are workshops conducted by the Center from time-to-time with the intention of grooming the personality of the students, so that they are able to portray their strengths in an apt manner during the final interview.
