TESTIMONIALS

"GMAT was looking to be a daunting task since I had never taken a computer based test of such a time duration. But the Experts' advice really worked and took the fear out of my mind. The study material was extremely good as it contains the relevant and the best of all topics from various sources and at a very reasonable rate.Hence the quality of the material far exceeds the cost. AWA template recommended is in sync with what is expected from GMAT takers and covers all aspects of analytical writing evaluators are looking for. All this helped to me score a good 740 with a scaled score of 5.0 in AWA."

Rice Jones Essays Writing and Editing Support

I came to Experts’ seeking help on my applications with 680 on GMAT. It was September and I did not have time to improve my score. However, I was guided to prepare for GMAT as the help from Experts’ eased the applications burden on me. While I achieved a 750 on GMAT with the Experts’ Global Guidance Program, my applications were also almost completed. I still applied everywhere in Round-1 and achieved multiple admits with great scholarships!

History

On May 18th, 1891, a Massachusetts-born businessman William Marsh Rice chartered the William Marsh Rice Institute for the advancement of literature, science and art in the city of Houston. The terms of the charter said that the work on the new institute can begin only after Rice’s death. Rice’s valet Charlie Jones along with an unscrupulous lawyer Albert Patrick conspired against him by poisoning him to death and used a forged will to claim his estate. Though Patrick was convicted of murder, Jones agreed to provide state evidence and hence, got immunity from prosecution. The Rice Institute opened on September 23rd, 1912 on the anniversary of Rice’s murder with 77 students and a dozen faculties. In 1960, Rice Institute was formally re-designated as Rice University. In 1974, the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Administration came into being.

MISSION STATEMENT

We excel at developing principled, innovative thought leaders in global communities.

Core Strengths of the School

The Rice MBA program aims to develop the next generation leaders into innovative thought leaders through its unique curriculum that blends the three essential ingredients (comprehensive core courses, Action Learning Projects and Specialized concentrations) required to alleviate the strategy, leadership and creative credentials of its students. The first year of the curriculum gives an opportunity for the students to explore the various options to solve a problem and diligently arrive at a solution after weighing the pros and cons of all the alternatives. Students have the option to choose a concentration that aligns with their career goals. This will equip them with the required knowledge and skills pertaining to their chosen business discipline. Students immerse themselves into the elective courses that further integrate the business knowledge with their career objectives. Students can get personalized attention (due to a low student to faculty ratio) from renowned faculty members who carry years of experience in research, consulting and teaching. Students get exposure to an experiential and competitive learning environment that boosts their innovative and leadership potential, thus propelling them to strive for innovative and academic excellence.

Uniqueness in MBA Pedagogy

The Action Learning Project ALP is an excellent opportunity for the students to put the theoretical business concepts learned in the classroom to practice. As a part of the ALP, students study the host company’s business processes in depth and provide necessary recommendations under the guidance of expert faculty member. Students learn to collaborate and develop essential teamwork skills. They liaise with the top executives from the host company to understand the business processes and practices followed within the company. The students are evaluated by the faculty mentor based on their final presentations and feedback from the host company. A typical ALP could be a new product development or distribution, streamlining the purchase process, creating an annual sales forecast procedure or exploring the capital appropriation process.

I cannot thank Experts’ and Mayank enough for helping me give my best towards getting an MBA from a top school. When I joined Experts’, I was given an honest reality check and counseled to defer my application process by one year. During this span, I received continuous guidance for GMAT Prep as well as profile building. After following Experts’ material and sticking to the study plan religiously I saw my GMAT scores rise significantly! I did not need any other material and I would not recommend using any other material either. I followed what Mayank suggested and stuck to it. Most important i saw results. I was one of those people who wanted to apply to HBS/Stanford, and Mayank was the only person (among the many I talked to) who did not brush it off as just another guy unrealistically dreaming of HBS. He said he would help me put the best possible application, and he did. Interviews with Stanford and Duke are testimony to that. He helped bring out my true self in the essays and that contributed to a stellar application. Both Mayank and Anand spent time helping me prepare for interviews and conducted multiple Mock interviews. All said, I was very happy with the personal attention and have recommended Experts’ to many of my friends.”
