Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation endows interest-free student loans to enterprising individuals for higher studies. The maximum scholarship amount offered is up to 20 lakh rupees for pursuing post-graduate studies in India and abroad. Indian students who are pursuing higher studies in the field of Applied Sciences, Pure Sciences, Humanities, Social Science, Architecture, Management and Law can apply for these loans.
The Narotam Seshkaria Foundation is a non-profit organization which has been created to help innovative students and organizations. They aim to empower students, hailing from different backgrounds with their funding initiatives. Along with the scholarship scheme for the students seeking high education, the foundation also endows fellowships to mid-career professionals. The holistic view of the foundation, one of the leading charitable agencies in India, is to select and mentor the students who have the leadership and entrepreneurship potential.

Mentors Program
The Foundation—established in 2002— believes that true change cannot happen just by simply selecting the right individuals. Hence, they also have a Foundation’s mentoring program to benefit the students. The Program helps the students to get proper advice and guidance from industry experts and the mentors. The Mentors Program takes into consideration both the professional and educational developments of the selected candidates. The aim is also to nurture the selected candidates with an entrepreneurship spirit so that they can be future leaders in their selected fields of study.

Eligibility Criteria
The students should be of Indian origin and should be residing in India. They should be graduates below 30 years of age. The institution from where they had pursued graduation should be well recognized. Those students who are in their final year and awaiting their results can also apply for the scholarship. However, they would be awarded the scholarship only when their admission is secured for higher studies.

Application Procedure
The mode of filling the application is online and the participants are invited for interviews in the month of January of every academic year. The supporting documents needed are mark sheets of Class X and Class XII, along with the Under-graduate program. They also need to attach the examination results of GRE, GMAT, GATE, CAT, whatever applicable, along with the Statement of Purpose. The selected candidates are informed in the month of April and May and they are invited for an interview in Mumbai in the month of June. The two-day orientation program is mandatory for all the candidates.
